Hakeem Prime also known as HyphyDaSpider started his buzz in 2016 with his first single "Slip Up".

With the success of his single he took that same energy to the stage. Prime dropped a ton of Mixtapes from 2010 to 2014. In 2012 Hakeem was given an opportunity of a life time to pursue his dream & become a member of non other than YMCMB. They had meetings & songs done that are now on The Mixtape 3: Apex. Hakeem's YMCMB Introduction (http://bit.ly/lilwaynetas) After the release of "The Mixtape 3:Apex" showcasing his work that was held. He then followed that up with the release of Forthcoming (Deluxe Edition) Mixtape under the name hyphydaspider.

Hakeem Released Forthcoming (Deluxe Version) Exclusively on Bandcamp and after a months time it sold 10,000 copies after his success, he learned a thing or two about production and finances. In 2016 he released his first hiphop single "Slip Up" that Prime Video received 1M views the first week. at the time fans also demanded a re-release of an song called Plane Crash. That was a free download from the last mixtape.

Opening for the likes of T.I, E-40, Russ & other popular influencers. Hakeem Prime has mastered his craft at story telling. Along with Hakeem he frequently utilizes Live instruments in his shows. He's played at venues like The Room Concert House (MS) / Knitting Factory (ID, NY)/ The Revolution Concert House (ID)/House of blues (LA) /Rio Club (GA) to name a few In exploration of his creativity Hakeem began to work on his new EP entitled "Signs" planning on releasing late 2017 Early 2018



Recognized by 99 JAMZ, WEDR 99.1 FM's Host Dj Da selected Hakeem Prime to be on there rotation for his song "More Than This" inspired by Dr. Martian Luther King Jr. giving Hakeem the start of his fan base. in 2018 Hakeem Prime is looking forward to touring to bring his fans closer together.
